This past weekend EC traveled to Hazard, KY for the Bolin town reunion.  We had a great time there, and it was so beautiful there.  This was the second trip for EC to Buckhorn Lake.  We would like to say thank you to all the family for having us, a very special thank you to Denver!!  On Saturday night we had to leave, and head for the other side of Kentucky.  We headed out for Scottsville, KY to be in service with the wonderful people of Beech Grove Baptist Church for their Decoration Service (Homecoming)  We have just fell in love with these people.  Carey is still talking about the banana pudding.  They fed us a feast that we will never forget.  We even got goodies for the ride home.  We want to say thank you to Pastor Pardue, and all of his congregation for being so good to us.  We look forward to being in service again soon.  If not this year, we will see you all again next May.

April 30th, 2008

Hey everyone!!  Sorry it has been a little while since I updated our journal, I have been a little under the weather!  We started April off at Little Zion Baptist Church in Indianapolis on the 13th.  It was great to see old friends, and a few family members!!  On the 19th we left out for GREENVILLE, TN.  We were so excited to get on the road.  Satan fought us the entire week before.  Our van needed work, the license plates were expired and it was Friday before we noticed, it was just one thing after another.  I almost had Pneumonia, it was just a mess!!!  But God had it all under control.  We got to Greeenville that evening , and we pulled into our hotel, FINALLY!!!  We were scheduled to sing at Horsecreek Gospel Barn at 7pm, once we got there, our sound system was just not going right, so we knew that God was about to bless!!!  Satan was working to hard against us.  Well that night, we sang for 2 1/2 hrs!!!!!!  Two people got saved, there was shouting, preaching, praying, praising, tears, it was one AWESOME service.  We love going to the Barn.  Wanda & her husband Roy , and their Daughter & family are GREAT people, and we love them so much.  Thank you all for having us, and we can't wait to come back in October!!!  After a long night, we headed back to the hotel, and settled in for the night.  On Sunday morning, the 20th, we were off to New Haven, another favorite for EC.   Pastor Keith Williams and his wife Myna Belle are some of our favorite people.  We have fell in love with all the people at New Haven.  What a wonderful day!!  Just a sweet spirit!!  God was there from the start !!!  The Choir began to sang a song that I had never heard before, "I'm Saved, I'm Born Again" and the power just fell!!!  Then Pastor Keith began to preach, and what a message.."Ain't nobody do me like Jesus"  We just want to thank everyone at New Haven & Horsecreek Barn for such a wonderful weekend.  You all are so AWESOME.  We love you all.    Look forward to seeing everyone in May.  We start may off in Plainfield, IN. at the Woodfire Grill....

PRAISE THE LORD FOR A WONDERFUL WEEKEND!!  EC left out Saturday, the 29th for Louisville, KY.  We met Rick & Dee at McDonald's for breakfast, and then they took us over to the fellowship hall where we would be spending the weekend.  We were set! They had everything all ready and set up for us, even a carrot cake on the table..YUMMY!!!  From here we left and went to Bass Pro Shop in Clarksville!! WOW!!  I loved this place and so did the guys and the kids.  I can't wait to go back where we will have more time to look around.  We left there and headed over to First Quality Music, oh man, we had a time.  We played music in there for about two hours!!  I loved the people there, they were so nice!!  We had already had a wonderful day, and only God knew how much better it was about to get.  We had to sing at God's Church in Charlestown!!  Church started at 7pm, and service did not end until 10:30pm!!! We had us a time.  We want to thank them for inviting us, and we cannot wait to get back over there.  After service we all came back to the fellowship hall, and just had a great time of fellowship.  We always have a great time when we are together, laugh, eat, joke, eat, laugh some more, oh, and did I mention eat.....LOL....On Sunday morning the 30th, we had to play at Full Gospel Tabernacle in Sellersburg.  God is so AWESOME!!  Again, we had no idea what Sunday morning held for us.  There was singing, praying, and shouting from the front of the church all the way to the back.  It was so wonderful!!  The Pastor, Bro. Wendell begin to testify and the next thing you knew, his shoes were off, and he took off preaching!!  What a blessing he had in store for EC.  We took a very good friend with us, Hannah Welty, and she was on the alter praying and recieved such a good blessing!!  A lady behind me started shouting , and I looked around and it was Dee, then seeing her blessed me, and I began to shout, as did Jennifer.  God always knows what we are in need of.  EC would like to thank the congregations of God's Church, and Full Gospel Tabernacle, we felt so welcome and recieved such a blessing...We love you all!!

We hope and pray that each of you had a blessed Easter.  We were so blessed this year (as we are everyday)  At our church they did a "Living Last Supper."  AWESOME!!!  Talk about a powerful production!!  I want to say FANTASTIC JOB to everyone that was involved in this.  Kathy Wilson, EC's previous bass player was over the production, and we just want her to know that we proud of her for following God's calling!!   This weekend we are off to Sellersburg, IN. and Charlestown, IN.  We are looking forward to it, we are singing at two churches we have never sang at before.  Looking forward to making new friends!!  And of course the weekend would not be complete if the guys did not get to make a pit stop Saturday morning at First Quality Music in Louisville, KY.  (We have to keep the guys happy...hahahahahah) Please be praying for us.  We love you all, and can't wait to see all of our friends this year

Love Ya!!!!

Another great weekend has come and gone.  On Sunday morning with sang at New Harmony General Baptist Church.  We want to tell Pastor Lyles & his entire congregation that we love them so much & thank them for a warm welcome.  We have sang at Bro. Lyles a few times, and they never fail to welcome us with open arms.  There was a real sweet spirit there Sunday morning!  We always look forward to being in service with these fine people.  On Sunday evening we headed to East Side Tree of Life, Pastor Dee Harris.  WOW WOW WOW!!!!  This evenings service goes to show if God has something for you to do or say, you need to do them!!  After a couple of songs, a young lady stepped out of her seat and begin to testify, and she was such a blessing.  The spirit of the Lord fell in a mighty way.  People began to cry, shout, pray, just pure worship!!  After we sang a young man began to testify, and his testimony went into preaching, and he was so anointed!!  We got up to sing again and service started all over again!! PRAISE THE LORD!!! God is so good.  It was so uplifting to be in this Church service.  We also want to thank them for having us & we can't wait to be back in service with you.

Wow, 2007 was a wonderful experience for Elisha's Creek.  We got to see over 20 people come to the Lord.  This is the reason we do what we do.  We are not in it for the money (there is none anyway..lol) we are not in it for fame, or to be seen, we only seek for God's approval.  We know that he has placed a huge calling on our lives and we only want to do what He would have us to do.  Our group has gone thru a lot of changes, and a few changes are still underway, but nothing is going to stop us from doing God's will.  We have to go on with our Ministry & God will send the ones He wants for His calling.  Please pray for us this year as we go about our Father's business.  We would love to see the number of souls doubled this year.  We are looking forward to seeing what God has in store.  Looking forward to seeing you all this year..
